School Contacts

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Schools and Youth organizations, interested in setting up an ARISS radiocontact with an astronaut onboard the International Space Station, are invited to submit an Application and an educational project.
 
  • From February 1, 2025 the application form will be completely online (see sidebar). 
The next submission window extends from February 1 to March 28, 2025.
The school selection will take place in May 2025.
The space conversation will tentatively be scheduled in the period extending from January to June 2026.
 
IMPORTANT: ...do not wait till the deadline of the Application Window to submit your requests!
Your application could be penalized and/or not accepted !!! 
 
An ARISS Mentor will guide you through the selection process. If your project is selected, he will help you prepare for the contact and a successful event. He will assist you all along the procedure.
 
DECLARATION: ARISS cannot guarantee that the contact will be operated

General

The space agencies entrust ARISS with the task of implementing amateur contacts for schools, allowing students to put questions to astronauts on board the International Space Station and receive their answer direct from space.
Candidate schools shall prepare a space oriented educative and submit it, filling out the ARISS Europe Application Form Online (see sidebar).
